This B&K Precision triple-output linear DC power supply unit provides a constant source of DC voltage and current for powering and testing electronic devices. The power supply unit (PSU) has two variable outputs that each provide DC voltage up to 24V and current up to 500mA (milliamp). A third fixed output supplies 5VDC voltage and 4 amp current. The PSU's display shows voltage and current readings for all outputs simultaneously. The outputs can be connected in series to supply more voltage, or they can be connected in parallel to supply more current. The current limit can be adjusted to suit a variety of applications. A power cord with a three-prong plug is included for connecting the PSU to a grounded outlet, and three sets of hookup cables are included for connecting the PSU to the device to be tested. A built-in cooling fan helps prevent overheating; and overload, short-circuit, and reverse polarity protection helps to prevent damage to the PSU and the device under test. Model 1651A has a dual analog display. Model 1652 has a dual digital LED display.
